Conventional pyrolysis oil contains high concentrations of organic chlorine compounds, causing severe corrosion in refining equipment.
Most processes operate on a batch-type basis, resulting in low energy efficiency and limitations for continuous, large-scale production.
Due to impurities, the oil fails to meet quality standards, making it unsuitable for high-value feedstock (Naphtha) and limiting its use to simple fuel.
Driven by the South Korean government’s ‘2050 Carbon Neutrality’ initiative and strict EU regulations (such as ISCC+), the chemical recycling market is undergoing rapid expansion.

Using our proprietary TMO catalyst, organic chlorine compounds are completely decomposed into harmless components through a process operating at 300–500°C.
Process Input : Pyrolysis (C5-C50) + Air

Final Output : Recycled naphtha (CnHx) + CO2 + HCl
Key Objective : Capturing and separating hazardous chlorine compounds to ensure dichlorination.
As a result of operating a 1-ton/day demonstration plant, the concentration of organochlorine compounds was reduced from 1,069 ppm to below 10 ppm.
The catalytic process significantly reduced the wax content (from 21% to 9%) and substantially increased the yield of high-value naphtha (from 37% to 51%).
